2017 Kawasaki Ninja H2 R

First, this is a 55K dollars race bike. Why?

Surrounding the Ninja H2R motorcycle’s high-output engine are a multitude of premium, high-performance components, selected specifically for unmatchable performance at track speeds.

The Kawasaki Ninja H2R hypersport motorcycle is an engineering marvel, made possible only through the sourcing of technological expertise from multiple divisions of Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd. (KHI).

The result of this unprecedented collaboration is a system of carefully crafted premium components and World Superbike racing inspired next-level electronics that work in concert to create an unbelievably powerful machine—one that’s more than worthy of the legendary H2 name.

The power: 998 cc and 4 inline cylinder

The engine was painstakingly crafted to endure the extreme stress from the power created by a supercharger. The precision-honed combustion chamber is complemented by a flat piston crown inspired by technology from KHI's Gas Turbine & Machinery Company that helps prevent detonation. Assist and slipper clutch offers light clutch pull and minimizes rear wheel chatter caused by aggressive downshifting.

The power is obscene, the liquid cooled 998 cc 16-valve engine delivers 326 bhp at 14.000 rpm, that requires a hell of a good race pilot and a lot of electronic helps to explore properly this MotoGP level bike. The top speed is limited to 315 km/h, but it can reach much more than that mark! Imagine the acceleration, it's insane, better than a MotoGP bike, 0-100 km/h in an blink of an eye and 0-400 km/h in only 26 secs, a new world record (See the video at the bottom of this article). Just Amazing!

The planetary gear

Designed using technology from KHI’s Aerospace Company, the planetary gear is incredibly compact and efficient at transferring power. The planetary gear runs off power from the crankshaft, driving the impeller (via a “step-up” gear) to incredibly high rpm.
The bike is fully equipped with the latest gizmos; from the Kawasaki Traction Control (KTRC) to the Kawasaki Intelligent Anti-lock Braking System (KIBS) and Kawasaki Launch Control Mode (KLCM).

For the circuits only!

The bike is built for the tracks and is currently not allowed to be used on the roads.

Beyond belief acceleration

Se it in action and be amazed with its acceleration. 0-400 km/h in 26 secs!
